The name 'Logos' originates from the Ancient Greek noun 'logos' (λόγος), which is derived from the verb 'legein' (λέγειν), meaning 'to speak,' 'to tell,' or 'to gather.' In its earliest pre-Socratic usage, it encompassed a wide semantic range, signifying not just speech or a word, but also an account, a ratio, an explanation, or a proportion.
